Ingrediants:

Code: Select all

500g Pork - Cubed or Strips
1 Red Onion Diced
3-4 Cloves Garlic. Crushed
1 Yellow Pepper. Sliced
2-3cm Of Ginger. Finely Chopped
100ml White Wine
75ml Red Wine Vinegar
50g Brown Sugar
100ml Water
150g Pineapple Chunks and Natural Juice
3-4 Tbsp Soy Sauce
2 Tbsp Tomato Ketchup
Allow 15 minutes to preheat your slow cooker

You don't have to use pork for this dish, you could opt for chicken or turkey for lower fat options. Opt for basmati or brown rice to help balance the meal.
You can brown off the pork if you prefer, before placing it in the slow cooker.

Stir well to ensure it is evenly distributed. Place the slow cooker on low and cook for 8 hours.

Once cooked, if you prefer a thicker sauce, add 2 teaspoons of cornflower, mixed with 50ml of water, combine well and then add the pork mix. Turn the slow cooker to high and cook for 30 minutes.

Serve on a bed of rice.
