Skillscape Practice Questions The FGA contains three tests, covering literacy, writing and numeracy. Below are examples of the kind of questions you will find in the FGA. Literacy TestThe Literacy test asks you to look at a local newspaper, the Brimfield News, and then answer questions from this. The newspaper contains information on local news stories, advertisements, and information. An example piece of information is given below: A literacy question might ask: When does the last bus leave Brimfield train station for Ashcroft town hall?
Writing TestThe writing test also uses examples from the but asks you to write more detailed answers; for example: A person arrives at Brimfield train station at 0820. Write a sentence saying what time the next bus to Ashcroft town hall leaves and when it would arrive at Ashcroft
Numeracy TestThe Numeracy test asks you to do some calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. You may also be asked to do some calculations involving fractions and percentages: 7 x 2
