Scan it once in
colour and then again in Black & White.
I have created a Photoshop action for the rest.
- Scan in Colour and again in B&W
- Convert the B&W copy to Greyscale
- On the Greyscale copy run the photoshop action "Prepare Paycheck"
- Switch to the Colour copy
- Paste in Place
- Merge Layers
- Auto Contrast.

Simply Run the Photoshop Action "No Paycheck"
