The following is the procedure used to import video files from a DVD...

Updated 07/23/2006.

1. Go to File Menu select Insert Media File (to Timeline or Library)>Insert DVD/DVD-VR

1a. In VS 10 Plus, you will first be presented with the following screen. If you have a DVD in the DVD tray on your computer the drive can be selected from the pull-down menu. If you created DVD Folders, then press the Import DVD Folder button. Then the same browse dialogue window will open.

2. Then select Browse and navigate to your DVD drive and the Video-TS folder, click OK.

3. This will open up a dialogue box containing the Scenes and a bit of information about them. The first screenshot is for VS8.

4. Then select the scenes you want to import. You can also choose to Trim some or all of the scenes you want to import. Once you have selected the scene(s) VS should now import them into the Library or Timeline.

Hope that helps...:)
