Ingredients
1/2 Onion
Small Tin Pineapple Chunks
2 Tablespoons Corn flour
250 ml Cider Vinegar
2 cloves minced garlic
1 teaspoon minced ginger
1 (5ml) teaspoon salt
7 tablespoons sugar
1/2 pint water
Optional teaspoon soy sauce
1 Tablespoon tomato puree
Method
Chop up and boil the onions
Mince the garlic with teaspoon salt
using small bowl of food processor
liquidise the ginger in a small amount of the water
Add Corn flour to Food processor
Add Tomato Purée and continue to liquidise
Empty into Saucepan
Add Garlic/Salt paste
Add Sugar
Add Cider Vinegar
Add pineapple juice
Add remaining water
Heat gently with continuous stirring
To finish Add onions and pineapples
