Received a telephone Call Friday morning from a male with a strong Asian Accent claiming to be a VirginMedia Engineer and that they had been monitoring my Internet connection for the past two weeks. It was slow and susceptible to disconnections, he said my system was infected with a virus and he was going to help me solve them.
Soon sent him packing.
Here are two posts on the VirginMedia User Forums regarding this scam.
